Hi Andrew and Siona I just want to let you know that I am at a good place right now after being diagnosed with breast cancer in mid-September last year. Almost a year has gone by and it seems like another life time ago when I was so ill with the effects of the chemotherapy treatment. In February 2003, I was diagnosed with a life threatening bone marrow cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia). Treatment for my leukaemia started almost immediately at Royal Perth Hospital and for the most of 2003, I was hospitalized and suffered terrible side effects from the treatment of chemotherapy.
